Follow these essential tips for successful aerosol paint application: always refer to specific can instructions for maximum results, prepare a clean, dry surface by removing dirt, wax, grease, moisture, rust, and loose paint, and sand or scrape as needed.

For best results, paint in good weather conditions with an ideal temperature of 55° to 75°F and a relative humidity of 40 to 60%. Avoid direct sunlight and hot, humid weather, and follow the proper re-coat opportunities based on product directions. Dupli-Color lacquers can be re-coated at any time, while enamels require re-coating within 1 hour or after 5 days.
